Tourism in Bhutan is guided by the idea of “High value, low impact” set by the government,which mandates the importance of the quality of service and good experience of the guest over the number of guest arrivals .

It is also mandated that any guest traveling to Bhutan will have to travel through a licensed Bhutanese tour operator.

Payment Policy

International Travellers

As per the tourism policy of Bhutan, 100% tour payment must be deposited into TCB’s account prescribed by your agent in Bhutan. Your online visa application will only be approved after the tour operator provides the receipt of the full amount for the tour from the guest to the tourism council of Bhutan.

Regional Travellers

You will be asked to deposit 50% advance booking payment for the low season and 75% advance booking payment for the high season to confirm your Bhutan holidays booking with us.
NB. Once you are done with the remittance, you will need to send us the deposit slip for our office reference.
