Day to Day Itinerary
Arrive at Paro International Airport and receive a warm welcome from your guide. After completing arrival formalities, transfer to your hotel. If time permits, visit Kyichu Lhakhang and enjoy a gentle walk around Paro town.

After breakfast, visit Rinpung Dzong and the traditional cantilever bridge. Later, meet your trekking crew for a detailed trek briefing and equipment check. Afternoon at leisure to acclimatize.

Drive to Damchena village and begin the trek with a steady ascent through pine and rhododendron forests. Reach Jele Dzong, offering stunning views of the Paro Valley and surrounding peaks.
Accommodation: Trek: 4–5 hours | Overnight at campsite
Continue trekking along high ridges with sweeping views of snow-capped mountains, including Mt. Jomolhari on clear days. Pass yak herder camps and alpine meadows.

Cross Jangchu La Pass and descend to the beautiful Jimilang Tsho, a high-altitude lake famous for its trout and scenic setting.

A scenic day walking through alpine landscapes, passing yak herder settlements and crossing small ridges before reaching Simkotra Tsho, another stunning mountain lake.

Trek over the final high pass and descend through forests to Phajoding Monastery, one of Bhutan’s most important meditation centers. Continue descending to the road head and drive to Thimphu. Trek: 5–6 hours | Drive: approx. 30 minutes Overnight in Thimphu

After breakfast, explore Thimphu Valley, visiting Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, and local handicraft markets. Later, drive to Paro.

Early morning hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic landmark. After descending, visit Kyichu Lhakhang and enjoy free time in Paro town.
